The playing field is situated on common land to the north of Orchard Lane, adjacent to the village hall. The Parish Council oversees the field and the childrens’ apparatus, and in recent years they have added many new pieces of equipment for all ages to the field.  The original roundabout and rocking horse have this year been lovingly restored.  Plans are in hand for the installation soon of adult exercise equipment.
